Atlantic VPS Backups
Privacy notice
Last updated: 21 October 2026.
Purpose and authorized use
This private integration is operated by the authorized administrator of the Atlantic application environment to preserve encrypted recovery backups. Google access is granted only when the administrator explicitly authorizes a Google account.
Google data access
The requested Google permission is https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file. The integration creates a dedicated backup folder and uploads, lists, reads for verification and recovery, and deletes expired backup files it manages. It also reads aggregate account storage-quota information. It does not request Gmail, Google Photos, or unrestricted access to unrelated Google Drive files.
Data stored and used
Recovery archives can contain application databases, uploaded media, and private deployment configuration from the operator-managed environment. Archives are encrypted before upload. OAuth access and refresh tokens, the OAuth client configuration, and verification manifests are kept in restricted server-side files and are used only to authorize and verify backup operations.
Storage and access
Encrypted archives are stored on the operator's VPS and in the authorized Google Drive account. Google processes the stored objects as the account's storage provider. The operator is responsible for access permissions and for keeping a separate secure copy of the backup recovery key. The integration does not make backups publicly accessible.
Retention and deletion
The configured schedule keeps short-term hourly recovery points locally and hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly recovery points in Drive. Selected migration and recovery checkpoints can be preserved longer. Local deletion is gated on verification and recovery checks. An upload or verification failure preserves the local copy. The operator can remove retained archives through its controlled backup procedures or directly in the authorized Drive account.
Sharing and other uses
The integration does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising, profiling, or AI model training. Data access is used for the backup, verification, storage management, and recovery functions described here.
Revoking authorization
The administrator can revoke the integration's access in the Google account's third-party connections settings. Revocation prevents further authorized Drive operations; it does not automatically delete existing Drive archives, VPS data, or application records.
